I wanted to create something that was related to learning--a v. important step to being 'wise'. But at the same time, I wanted it to be a conscious, deliberate decision, hence the 'diving in,' as opposed to simply 'falling in.'
The statement was provided by my friend, who saw it on a bookmark.

Coat of Arms (Coat of Shoes???)

I believe this is what most women (and a few fab men) tell themselves. It's like a mantra of sorts, so I thought it would be fun to make it into a coat-of-arms style.

20th Anniversary of The Sandman

On November 8, 2008, the comic world will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Neil Gaiman's "The Sandman". It's hard to believe it's been 20 years already, considering that people are still discovering its greatness everyday. The artwork is just a mini-celebration of one of the comic world's best creations, with the quote by Neil Gaiman.

(In case it wasn't obvious, that's Dream.)
